Remote Consultations

Remote consultations are scheduled during our regular office hours. The doctor will call you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time. If for any reason the doctor is unable to call within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, the office will call you within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time with an updated estimated time of availability and an option to reschedule (at no cost to you), if preferred.

If you are approved for an initial consult with the doctor, which usually lasts between 30-45 minutes, the doctor will tell you a bit about himself and the practice, you will have the opportunity to share briefly about what you're dealing with health-wise, the doctor will speak in very general terms about how he tends to approach the issues you bring up, he will briefly describe the rest of the new patient on-boarding process, and you will have the chance to ask a few questions at the end if time permits.

After the end of your initial consultation with the doctor, you will receive our Deposit Agreement & Payment Policies document via our secure e-sign system. Once we've received your completed and signed Deposit Agreement and processed payment for the non-refundable deposit, we will send you our New Patient Packet via the same secure e-sign system. Once we've received you completed and signed New Patient Packet along with emailed or faxed copies of all lab results from at least the previous year, you will enter our new patient queue.

Due to the level of detailed work and time invested with each patient, Dr. Partovi is able to take on an average of 2-3 new patients each month. So, our new patient queue can often be full for several months into the future. The fastest way to become a patient is to complete and return all of the documentation in a timely manner. Dr. Partovi has been known to respond in kind to highly motivated and coachable patients by moving their new patient process through more quickly. That said, the minimum on-boarding time from the moment you first contact us until you have your initial protocol from the doctor is 6-8 weeks. So, you should absolutely continue with your current healthcare providers and their treatment protocols unless and until you receive instructions to the contrary in your finalized protocol from Dr. Partovi.

Once you've reached the top of the new patient queue and Dr. Partovi is ready to take you on as a new patient, we will send you laboratory requests that you can take to your local laboratory patient service center for your initial labwork with us. After we have received the lab results, the doctor will review the results and schedule your lab review visit. During your lab review visit, Dr. Partovi will go over all of your initial lab results and give his assessment of the likely causes of your current concerns as well as speak generally about setting up a treatment and wellness optimization program tailored to your unique genetic, epigenetic, and biochemical individuality. At the end of your lab review visit, you will have a conversation with Madi Partovi about the three services our practice offers and have the opportunity to move forward with whichever services you would like at that time.

Once you've selected which of our services you would like to take advantage, e-signed the requisite agreement, and your account has been charged for those services; Madi will schedule your history taking visit. During your history taking visit with the doctor, he will complete a detailed review of your past and present medical history, and discuss possible causes of your health concerns. Once he has your complete history along with the results of any additional follow up labs or testing, he will go to work finalizing a protocol for you, which usually takes an average of 1-2 weeks after we have all of the information needed. When your protocol is complete, we will call you to schedule your protocol review visit to go over your comprehensive treatment plan with the doctor and so the doctor may answer any questions you have at that point.

At the end of a scheduled consultation, some patients find that they have more questions and that they would like to continue their appointment past their original time slot. If there is time available, that is not a problem. If there is another appointment scheduled, however, you may need to set up a short-term, follow-up appointment, for which we will do our best to fit you into the schedule.

We require follow up at minimum 3-month intervals, although the doctor will sometimes recommend sooner follow-up, depending on a patient's individual needs. Follow-up consultations usually take one hour or less. That said, estimated appointment times may vary depending on the complexity of your case. Our remote consultations schedule fills up quickly; so, we recommend that you book your follow-up appointments at least 3 months in advance to ensure continuity of care.

Our remote services are not a substitute for a visit to your primary care physician. Consultations complement and enhance the care you are receiving from your conventional local doctor.
